HAPPY YOU’RE HERE
Sharing ideas, inspiration, and what I find both beautiful and useful in the mundane day-to-day rhythms of life is my love language.
I’m Katherine, and I’m a wife, mother, and follower of Jesus. My husband and high-school sweetheart, Jonny, and I welcomed our first baby into the world in September of 2021, and we’ve absolutely loved the treasure of becoming parents. Being a mom is something I've felt God calling me to since I was a little girl, and it’s surreal that He’s allowed me to step into that calling. We now have a second son—his name is Boden, and we welcomed him into our family in October of 2023. We’re growing, praying, laughing at ourselves (a lot), and asking for His grace daily—what a ride it is. The most amazing ride.
Whether I’m planning our next trip, helping to create a friend’s baby registry, scouring Facebook Marketplace for a new piece of furniture, or mapping out where to grab the best cup of coffee on a road trip, I’ve always enjoyed the process of researching different options and finding the most practical and beautiful products. I’m passionate about sharing the things I love with my friends, family, and now, with you!
I also have a heart for partnering with couples to plan their dream wedding. Just as I find joy in creating intentional, beautiful moments in my home, I am equally passionate about helping couples bring their unique vision to life. From the smallest details to the bigger picture, I love walking with couples through every step of the planning process, ensuring their wedding is not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful.
I find immense joy in making my home a place of rest and celebration, filling the role of hostess, and creating space to honor and cherish others. Some of the things bringing joy into my life are morning cups of coffee, a clean kitchen, thrifting home goods, fresh flowers, and making late-night milkshake runs (the pregnancy craving for sweets never went away!).
I loved writing in high school and college, though I got out of the rhythm of it after graduating. Life has been quite busy with working full-time, getting married, moving eight times, and becoming a mom, but writing has always been something that brings me joy. So, I hope to use this platform as a healthy creative outlet—a space to organize my thoughts, document memories, and cherish the joys God’s put in front of me. Here, I’ll share my favorite finds, home projects, recipes, good reads, health tips, travel recommendations, and reflections on what God’s teaching me along the way.
