Sadie & Jonah
“A day that truly reflected their unique love story and infectious energy”
Sadie and Jonah’s wedding in Louisville, KY, at Third Avenue Baptist Church and The Mellwood Arts Center was the perfect blend of elegance and effortless fun—a day that truly reflected their unique love story and infectious energy. The industrial charm of Mellwood, with its exposed brick walls and tall ceilings, created a stunning backdrop for dinner and dancing.
Their ceremony was intentional and heartfelt, with soft, natural light pouring through the windows at Third Avenue. Sadie walked down the aisle arm in arm with her father, Rich, to Oh Love Divine/My Jesus Fair, played on piano by one of Jonah’s groomsmen. Her breathtaking gown, paired with bright florals, felt both timeless and fresh.
One of the most beautiful moments for me as the day-of coordinator was seeing both of their families—from Louisville and India—come together to worship Jesus and pray over Sadie and Jonah's future. It was a sweet reflection of the love and unity that filled their entire day.
After the ceremony, the space transformed into a lively reception filled with laughter, dancing, and surprise moments—including Sadie surprising Jonah in a traditional Indian saree for their first dance as husband and wife. Every detail, many dreamt up by Sadie, her mom, and sisters, from the florals to the lighting, was thoughtfully curated to reflect who they are as a couple—vibrant, genuine, and full of life.
I was honored to play a small role in this special celebration—it was a day that beautifully captured their journey together, surrounded by friends, family, and so much love.
