These are a few of my favorite things: January
01 | Abercrombie 90’s Relaxed Jeans
I’m telling you, these are the jeans. I have been searching for the perfect fit, and was hesitant to time travel back into middle school by shopping at A&F - but these 90’s relaxed jeans are the comfiest pair I own, and can be dressed up or down!
02 | Stanley IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler 20 oz.
I technically purchased this for Sutton, but we share! Stanley also makes a 30oz version of this, but I would that I can just flip the straw down and toss it in the diaper bag without worrying about spilled water.
03 | Brass Kitchen Faucet
I was secretly happy. when our old faucet (the one originally here when we purchased our home) broke — it meant we could get a new and improved one! The installation on this was simple for someone who had never installed a faucet before, and we receive so many compliments on how good it looks! Not to mention, the quality feels incredibly durable.
04 | Acure Shampoo
We just made the switch to Acure shampoo and are loving it — I actually get it discounted with our Thrive Market order each month! I’m pleased with the ingredients and the scents available are 100%.
05 | Cozy Wild Rice and Orzo Chicken Soup
This recipe is on repeat in our home and is perfect for cold and dreary winter days. I’ll definitely be making and delivering this to all my postpartum mom friends, too — the name uses the word “cozy” and there really is no better way to describe it!
We have Young Livings Vanilla Oil, usually paired with Clove or Lemon, pumping through our home on the daily. It’s a cozy-meets-clean scent and I always have guests asking “what is that amazing smell?”!
07 | Yoto Player
Ah, the Yoto Player! I think this will be a “toy” that Sutton will be able to enjoy for years. The cards will make for great Easter Basket fillers and Stocking Stuffers and he is obsessed with all of the different stories and music he’s able to play - not to mention, it’s a great screen time replacement (which is ideal for this working-from-home mama)!
08 | Pour-Over Coffee
We have an amazing coffee maker for when I need to make a bunch of coffee for guests, but considering I’m the only one in this family who drinks coffee, pour-over coffee makes a lot more sense, tastes a lot better, and it looks a lot better our on our countertop.
