Summer Capsule Wardrobe Anyone?
By definition, a capsule wardrobe is “a collection of clothing that is composed of interchangeable items only, to maximize the number of outfits that can be created. The aim is to have an outfit suitable for any occasion without owning excessive items of clothing.”
Not sure I will ever get to the point where my wardrobe could be considered “capsule”. I love having plenty of options, but I do like to think I’m making strides towards some sort of capsule-ish wardrobe. I’ve been gifting, donating, and selling the pieces I once loved but no longer reach for, that no longer fit into my lifestyle (enter breastfeeding), and that I don’t fit into the same way postpartum.
Regardless of if you’re trying to downsize your closet OR you just want to add some quality pieces to your summer wardrobe, I’ve put together a list of some of the pieces I’m loving and am planning to wear all summer long on repeat. Just over here trying to normalize repeated outfits (yes & amen).
